Success Story

Keep up the great work,

Ms. Lechman!

Ms. Lechman arrived at Forest Haven with a chief complaint of dizziness and cerebral palsy. Ms. Lechman has continued to overcome adversity while receiving physical, occupational, and speech therapies. She has shown growth in the following areas: increased range of motion in both arms, increased sitting balance, transfers, wheelchair propulsion, memory recall and 3-step sequencing. Ms. Lechman has even taken steps in our parallel bars with help from her new ankle brace and the dedication of her PTA Robin! Ms. Lechman’s determination and hard work have been truly inspiring to everyone at Forest Haven.

Despite the challenges she faces, she remains positive and motivated to improve her quality of life. With continued support from her therapy team and her own perseverance, there is no doubt that Ms. Lechman will continue to make progress and achieve even greater milestones in the future. Her journey at Forest Haven is a testament to the power of resilience and the incredible potential for growth and healing, even in the face of significant obstacles. We are honored to be a part of Ms. Lechman’s rehabilitation journey and look forward to witnessing her continued success and accomplishments.
